Introducing the latest additions to KENWOOD’s renowned NEXEDGE® range of digital radios, the NX-230EX/330EX. As well as offering the benefits of advanced digital technology – including increased effective coverage area, low noise for superior clarity, and inherently secure voice communication – these radios are ATEX/IECEx-certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres such as oil refineries, chemical plants, grain silos, pipeline and other chemical applications.
Digital Transceivers
Introducing the new TK-D740V/D840U mobiles, launched together with the new TK-D240V/D340U portables and completing KENWOOD’s impressive DMR system line-up. Thanks to compliance with MIL-STD and IP54 environmental standards, they can be relied on through thick and thin. As well as handling both analog and digital communications, these user-friendly DMR radios can even operate in direct mode, without a repeater. They also offer KENWOOD Call Interrupt and also benefit in having KENWOOD enhanced audio quality. These truly resourceful team members will enable you to make the most of your legacy analog equipment while also benefitting from digital communications.
ProTalk Digital and Analog Two-Way Radios
The Kenwood ProTalk® PKT-23 LT and TK-3230 XLS are lightweight, compact, on-site radios that have innovative features ideal for use in retail, restaurant, hotel/motel, educational, multi-family dwelling, and service industry applications. The pocket sized PKT-23 LT provides 1.5 watts of power, 4 channels, and up to 15 hours of operation with 99 pre-programmed frequencies.
The ProTalk® TK-3230 XLS has 1.5 watts of power with 64 pre-programmed UHF business frequencies to choose from. All the features are menu driven and the lighted display gives the user status icons for easy operation. There are 39 quiet talk (QT) privacy codes and 83 additional digital quiet talk (DQT) privacy codes to separate user talk groups on shared frequencies.

Designed for business users, Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) is a digital radio standard developed by leading manufacturers under the umbrella of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). Radios complying with the standard can operate within a license holder’s existing 12.5 kHz channel, while doubling the channel capacity. The TK-D200(G)/D300(G) supports DMR Tier II (conventional) licensed operation.
